As we find ourselves in the midst of the holiday season and on the cusp of a new year, let us take the time to acknowledge the farmers, ranchers, veterinarians, packer/processors, and scientists that help to provide us with the safest and most wholesome food supply in the world. Let us also recognize the efforts and resiliency of truckers, grocers, retailers, restauranteurs, and employees from every facet of the meat and poultry industry as they have worked tirelessly to maintain some sense of normalcy over these past 10 months. Albeit this holiday season is unlike any that I or others may have ever experienced, we truly have much to be thankful for as we take our seat at the dinner table this year.
